The Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act is not yet in force but aims to improve protective security in the UK, requiring organisations to take steps to prepare for the possibility of a terror attack. The Government has committed to a minimum two-year implementation period following Royal Assent earlier this year before commencing the requirements.
