This is a reminder that attacks can take place anywhere and without warning, therefore we ask all of our partners and stakeholders to remain alert, but not alarmed. The UK threat from terrorism remains at ‘substantial’ meaning an attack is likely. As ever we ask the business community and members of the public to remain vigilant and if they see anything that doesn’t look or feel right to contact the police or report it to security staff.
Instances such as the above highlight the need for regular reviews of an organisation’s readiness and response plans.
