Businesses and organisations can now access a Counter Terrorism Policing (CTP) endorsed register of protective security specialists, developed as part of new measures set out in response to the Manchester Arena terror attack.

If organisations or venues need counter terrorism protective security, preparedness advice, or technical implementation, the new Security Specialists Register, available via the Register of Security Engineers and Specialists (RSES), now offers access to a wide pool of verified expertise across multiple disciplines.

The Register has been developed by RSES and the National Counter Terrorism Security Office (NaCTSO) – a specialist unit within CTP – and will be administered by the Institution of Civil Engineers. It is also now open to enquiries and expressions of interest to those wishing to join it.
