Counter Terrorism Policing's Competent Persons Scheme (CPS) Team will be hosting a panel event at The Security and Policing Event 2026 on 10 March 2026.
At the event we will be discussing our two streams of work: the Award in Counter Terrorism Protective Security and Preparedness (CT PSAP), formally referred to as Competent Person in the Workplace (CPIW), and the Counter Terrorism Security Specialists Register (CTSSR).
Members of the CPS Team will joined by representatives from SFJ Awards, who are our delivery partner for the CT PSAP Award, and from the Register of Security Engineers and Specialists (RSES).
We would like to take this opportunity to open questions up to a wider audience and invite ProtectUK users to submit their questions by email to our mailbox.
You can submit questions to us until midday on Monday 9 March.
Please note that we may not be able to answer all of the questions that we receive during our panel time, but we will endeavour to get through as many as possible. We will record the panel and will publish the recording in due course.
