How to report a crime or incident.

ProtectUK is not a reporting platform

ProtectUK offers free counter terrorism advice and guidance to ensure protective security measures can be implemented to keep the pubic safe. 

If you live in Scotland, you can search by postcode to find your relevant force, or you can report a crime online


Reporting a crime or incident 

  • if you need to contact the Police regarding a crime or incident, report online

  • alternately, you can contact Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111 if you want to remain anonymous

  • if you have seen or heard something that could potentially be related to terrorism, trust your instincts and report suspicious activity online

In an emergency, or if you need urgent police assistance, you should always dial 999.

If you want to talk to your local police, get crime prevention advice, or report a crime that does not need urgent assistance, call 101.
