Actions Counters Terrorism (ACT) for Education e-learning is bespoke training aimed all staff working in education settings and will teach learners how to identify security vulnerabilities, suspicious activity and how to respond when there is an incident. This free course has been developed by the Department for Education in collaboration with the National Counter-Terrorism Security Office using core principles such as Run, Hide, Tell, the HOT Protocol and the Power of Hello.

Please use Google Chrome when completing the e-Learning, as this will enhance performance.

Once you have successfully completed the e-Learning, you may access your certificate on your user profile.

It is also important to read the Department for Education’s Protective Security and Preparedness Guidance for education settings which has more detail on the areas covered in the e-learning.
